Ken will be enhancing local banjo programs by visiting Vermont periodically to present workshops for children and adults of all ages!

BANJO WORKSHOPS with Ken Perlman

Ken Perlman last came to Montpelier, Vermont on the weekend of January 27-29, 2012 to present workshops and a concert for adults and children on traditional clawhammer banjo technique. We'll let you know when he plans to come back to the area.  In the mean time, if you are interested in learning to play the banjo clawhammer style, take lessons locally or purchase Ken's Clawhammer style banjo and DVD manual which is considered by many as "the definitive" handbook for clawhammer banjo instruction. Visit www.kenperlman.com for more information or to purchase materials.  Workshops are hosted by Woodbury Strings and The Attic Series.

Ken also is the director and banjo teacher at Northeast Heritage Music Camp which met in Johnson, VT every June from 2005 - 2011.  Sarah has taught beginning fiddle and banjo classes at this camp since 2006.
